What about level-design tho?
The bad graphics arent even the worst part of Gen 8, the narrow corridors with shitty grass patches and trainers akwardly standing by the side are.

Seriously they should just ask to borrow BotW game and copy pokemon assets to it, maybe put some road blocks here and there and dense forests we cant go through and kablamo! You have your pokemon game.

I don't want BotW Pokémon. I don't want a big open world. That isn't Pokémon. I do, however, want Pokémon to go back to what works. It shouldn't be so easy to poke holes into the series, but it has pretty much nothing going for it in terms of competent game design at this point.

yeah they showed a gameplay trailer with corridors and grass patches but in reality they are trolling us and the game is a 3D open world

If people actually think an open world pokemon game would be shit then how come Game Freak hasn't tried it yet? They're the kings of making shit. The only possible conclusion is that an open world game would be good and that's the reason Game Freak hasn't done it.
