Resolution is closer to NES but that console would have an even harder time with color pallettes even if you used every trick on the book to cheat the system.
SNES would probably be able to output something like this? But games at the time liked to boast the increased graphic fidelity. And resolution might be a problem again, I haven't calculated the actual resolution of this video (but it's definitely above 160x144)
