Well yeah. SM is actually animated. XYZ had some good animation like the Kyogre/Groudon fight episode, and the finale, but most of the big fights were largely rotating camera angles like crazy around a single action.

Consistently, no shit. It’s a weekly anime that’s been running for 20 years and has to deal with constant time constraints due to the unpredictability of the franchise as a whole. However, Pokemon has had phenomally animated episodes throughout its run. The previous series being XYZ was a major animation milestone. The very first episode was undoubtedly the best animated episode the series has ever had at that point

If the next series ends up good then Gen 9 might end up being crap and those fags will try shitting on Gen 8. The real kicker's going to be that SMfags are going to leave right after anyway since Gen 8 seems like it'll go back to being somewhat the same way Gens 1-6 were.

short shots and stuff, only few battles were good

imo SM stepped up at higher game, NOT ALL battles/scenes has good animation, but I noticed [for example the way how golisopod blocked pikachu Z move] that if everything will went right, this anime will evolve even further into better show after the league which has ABSURDLY lot of potential!

this shit was so fucking fluent in similar way to many anime movies, that was QUALITY BY FAR...[also sato vs clemont]
