Training is actually quite easy in this game, anon. Once you reach Celestic town you unlock various EV trainers in the day care. Experience is one of them, depending on how many badges you have, the trainer will have:

>3 Badges- 6 Chansey
>5 Badges- 6 Blissey

etc. Also, Nidoking is available before the first gym. Get Nidorino to level 16, then get the Moon Stone in Oreburgh mines. ( I believe an NPC gives it to you)
