But Gen IV and V were the best no matter what anyone says. The DS times were magical for both mainline and spinoffs. Hell, even the Wii had great titles like PokéPark. Take me back.

Yes because by then each gen is viewed by Pokemon designs, not story. Story has less relevancy in judging how good a generation is as time goes on

People who started the franchise with RBY were getting in their teenage years during gen 3/4 so they get a lot of shit because people were naturally growing out of the franchise then.

When you look in retrospect Pokemon is a franchise that doesn't budge, barely innovates and never shakes the formula (why would they) in any meaningful way so claiming any of these Pokemon games is particularly worse than the others is ridiculous.

Ice tried playing black and white a fuck ton of times and never seem to get very far past finding a sawk to help with the second gym. Then I out it down.. but gen 6 was perfect.. I dont see how you guys can even play five it's so bad
