I'll start

I'm a translator. I translate stuff, in case you couldn't tell.

>sobble becomes a water/flying windsurfer (the thing on his head becomes a sail)
>grookey becomes a grass/ground cricket player
>scorbunny becomes a fire/electric runner (get it he's lightning fast)
>generic mammal is a grass type eastern gray squirrel that evolves into a grass/fire red squirrel
>generic bird is a tit that evolves into a magpie, normal/flying
>bug is a bug/water damselfly nymph that becomes bug/fairy when it evolves
>pseudo is a bug type leech that evolves into a bug/dragon based on an interpretation of the loch ness monster as a giant leech
>fossils don't look like real animals, as they're based on crystal palace dinosaurs
>legendary is a "cunning wolf" who was a hero during a war in the distant past; he's now the last of his species, and fights you because he thinks he needs to prove he's worthy to rejoin society; dark/fighting
>his battle is insane, he has a mech that functions as another pokemon
>the mech is a steel/poison snake in sword, and a steel/grass Trojan horse in shield
>the evil team captures him and forces him to build a third mech, which I haven't seen yet
