>>38350019>>38350123Imagine being this much of a fucking casual.
The Gundam Vs and Naruto games are casual button mashers with super simplified mechanics where the entire cast has more or less the same exact gameplay with just different animations. Characters have strings of autocombos, with no actual unique command inputs or large movelists. They have more characters and more content because they aren't putting effort into having actual deep gameplay systems.
Pokken, meanwhile, is an actual competitive fighting game where each character has a totally uinque movelist, has multiple attack buttons, has an attack height system has just frames, cancels, etc; and where effort is actually put into balancing. Pokken's roster even for a comptitivie fighter is somewhat on the small side, but it's not extremely so: THe Mortal Kombat and Injustuce games had around 20-24 characters, SFV started with 16, etc. Pokken's absolutely within the ballpark here.
Smash is sort of it's own thing: characters don't play the same as in arena fighters, but it's fundamentally still designed to be a casual game first and proiproitizes the amount of content/characters over explicit fighting game balance and combat systems: COmpetitive smash is still competitive, but it's not designed around competitive play like Street Fighter, Tekken, Pokken, etc are. So more effort can still be spent on content, and Nintendo has huge budgets for the smash titles.
In short, you are LITERALLY complaining that the game actually tries to be a good fighting game. Fuck off, Pokken isn't made for you.
