It's so stupid. There are plenty of pokemon that desperately need stat boosts but some people are dead set against it. I don't get it. 250 base stat total for a fully evolved pokemon is not okay. It's ridiculous to say that's fine and it shouldn't be improved. No point in learning moves if you can't actually use most of them for anything other than acting as a sire.

That's what I've been saying. People are like it's balanced but it's not. Giving it mediocre base stats in the 50s-70s would not make it overpowered like Mega Rayquaza.

Absolute retards who don't understand that smeargle needs to be slow and frail as fuck I'm order to be balanced. If it were up to me it'd have 50 base speed and permanently locked into the ability Klutz. Sketch is too powerful for it to have any better stats.

Smeargle, even after losing Dark Void, is a powerhouse in VGC.
If this is how good (and frustrating) it is even with shitty stats, it would be game-breaking with good stats.

I think he’s fine. Sketch is pretty powerful, letting it have some very unique combinations of moves. I personally like using it as my ingame dogcatcher. Plus it’s a cute lil doggo buddy.
