Considering i have realistic expectations for all the games i play and i dont have to wait for my parents to buy me 1 for my birthday idk dude

LGP/LGE were fine and I imagine that Sword/Shield will be serviceable for what they are too

Well the switch isn't a very powerful console but I agree, the new pokemon game should at least be using the console to its fullest potential and it doesn't look like it is. It looks slightly better than the 3ds games and all of the pokemon models are literally copy pasted from the 3ds games. Pretty amazing how incompetent gamefreak is, even more amazing how many people will defend them

I, and probably a majority of the board, think the models are fine. For the most part, there are a handful each of us could gripe about, but the models themselves are fine.
Its the animations that need fucking fixing. And the desaturated colour schemes.

I don't care about the models themselves because pokemon has never been about graphics. Its about catching cool monsters with their own unique personalities and shit, so the absence of animations has just sucked all the life out of the games. Thats why gamefreak needs to fix this shit its a big problem
