I wouldn't be surprised if they made Jasmine teach you about mega evolutions through Amphy. Afterall Korrina didn't use lucario until her second battle chateau rematch (even if it fit her theme better).

He was important in GSC because he was the previous player character, but this time that would be Ayumi/Kakeru, plus we already got to fight Red in the prequel. If anything about Let's Go 2 could have me excited, it's whatever they will do with Red, 'Leaf' and the fight atop Mt. Silver. As well as whether we'll get to see Kris, Lyra or both.
