>playing through Gen 4 again
>get to Oreburgh City
>Oreburgh is a coal mining town
>residents of Oreburgh show extreme pride of the coal
>giant coal mine to explore
>even has a museum dedicated to coal
>gym leader gives you the "coal badge"
I'm just wondering... how will this be handled in the gen 4 remakes? There is a pretty massive stigma around coal now. It would probably get picked up by the media if a children's video game was advocating for coal. Can we expect to see Oreburgh be transformed into a wind or solar energy city? I'm almost wondering if this is one of the reasons why Game Freak is taking their sweet time with a gen 4 remake.
