-Bring back stupid little in game events like the Bug Catching Tournament or perhaps some equal proxy like a Fish Catching Tournament. I just like the domestic, lived in, atmosphere this sort of thing gave the game.
-Bring back the Safari Zone and go back to using it for rare, exotic, and/or foreign pokemon to the region. I don't understand why they got rid of this? Any idea why? I know in some games they have alternative methods for catching 'more' pokemon post-game, but the Safari Zone kinda spiced things up a little.
-Pokemon visibly in the field is superior to random encounters. This is the single thing that Pokemon Go did better and I think it should be a staple now- it just has so much more going for it in terms of avoiding unnecessary fights, targeting specific pokemon, and shiny chains. It's just better.
-Make Super Training a permanent fixture. I'm a brainlet: without Super Training I basically don't understand EV, so when the Ruby/Sapphire Remakes exposed it to me I could finally participate in the more advanced side of Pokemon and I was having FUN for once. I can't even begin to understand why they replaced this, why keep it such an obscure mechanic to interact with?
-Take a fucking break from making more Pokemon and focus on the ones you have already. Variations, crossbreeds, alternate forms, just stop making so many new Pokemon for christ sake. There's almost a THOUSAND Pokemon; with a few exceptions (finish the Eevolutions) does there really need to be many more?
