Also, the "......" dialogue line is a reference to Gen 1 link battles and how battling Red on Mt Silver looks quite reminiscent of this. It was not meant to imply that Red has severe autism or whatever. They just wanted Red to continue to represent whatever we had imprinted onto him in the previous Gen.
