pkhex fucked up

Ok bros so I edited some Honey Trees on my Platinum save file with PkHex and I noticed my Poketch has disappeared.
I have backups that Pkhex created automatically whenever I change anything, but whenever I put them in the Battery folder the game doesn't really recognize the back up saves.
How the fuck am I supposed to enable Poketch or load a backup file properly?

Pic related is what I've got trying to find a female Combee. Sadness.

Have you tried uploading the save file to a clean version of the game. Maybe the game file got fucked up.

I think I tried everything. Also tried different backup files. For some reason, Pkhex says all the backup files are corrupted.
I noticed there are other people too that had this problem and they had to load an older file for it to work, I just fixed it in a different way though.

I edited my save with the fucked up Poketch and removed all the apps and Poketch completely, went in game and talked to Poketch President, he gave me the Memo Pad app, I saved the game. Opened it in Pkhex again and re-added all the apps I had before, and somehow it's working.

This has been a problem in PkHex for a long time, it usually happens to me when I edit in certain Poketch apps. The only way to really fix it is to go back on your original save and try and avoid doing it again. Just edit Combee to be female, but Gen 4 PkHex is garbage and will mark it as illegitimate.

Nope. Gen 4 Pokemon are immediately flagged as illegit if even one IV is changed. The Poketch issue has also been stated to have been fixed in updates several times, but it always gives me problems. Gen 4 PkHex is shit

In other Gens it’s fine to change just about whatever you want and it automatically adjusts legitimacy, but in Gen 4 specifically, apparently not. To legitimately edit Gen 4 mons, I believe you need a third-party PID generator.

Do you have the most up-to-date version of PkHeX?

You should be able to simply load the backup version of the save file (make sure to change the file to .sav)

Wrong: Gen 3 & 4 PID’s are correlated to the gender, nature and IV’s, while Gen 5+ PID’s are independent. PkHeX has NEVER automatically adjusted “legitimacy”, it’s simply that changing the iv’s/nature on a Pokémon originating from a Gen 5+ game would still allow it to be legal, while changing any of those set values on a Gen 3-4 Pokémon would automatically cause it to be illegal given the PID-IV correlation is made invalid. For Gen 3-4, you need to use RNGReporter to find a valid PID for the IV’s, nature and gender you want.

I was using the March 2019 version when it got bugged. Now updated to the latest one, but I think they didn't fix that in the last update. So yeah, I can confirm it's still bugged.
