why is it that game freak seems to focus on quantity and not quality?

I am no, genwunner, but the kaiju aesthetic was dropped and we have been getting some really
shitty designs. I am not going to name names, but you know what they are.

Why not take a page from other series and expand upon the ones we already had
and make them better with every generation?

For example with medabots,
instead of making a shit ton more medabots, new designs and models were made for previous bots.

In digimon we have all sorts of fixes and variants for say wargreymon throughout the years.

Honestly, did we really need this many Pokemon?
Majority of them are forgotten within a gen and are never spoken of again

>armaldo
the list goes on.

Honestly we didn't need more than 300 truth be told,
They should have kept a core group , of all competitively viable , interesting, etc...
