It always fucking gets me2. The regis are such a cool concept for a pokemon. They feel very different and unique compared to most other pokemon, and their representations in the movies played abig part in that, at least for me. They just felt cool and powerful. The puzzles you needed to solve made them a pokemon you had to earn instead of a pokemon you could just fuck about on a route until they appeared, which also made them more special. They've also been rathered underloved and underrepresented in pokemon games and media, and like anything that receives little love, 4chan latches on to.
