It's just that oftentimes girls deny that so I can't know whether it was true or not (although both my HS and college had really bitchy girls, I've even seen it in Steam because "you're my friend and if you get a gf you'll start ignoring me").
Luckily for ever crazy girl, there's also a supportive one. I've seen many like that (and even had in my life).
