And that's really what movies are about - things we know, and have seen hundreds of times before.I think they'll like the movie though, generally speaking. Honestly despite all the shit they give Marvel and Star Wars they tend to like most Marvel and Star Wars movies. I can't remember many Half in the Bags where they concluded that a Marvel movie wasn't worth watching. I get why that is, most Marvel movies aren't explictly bad, they're just all kind of the same.
Similarly I think they'd like Detective Pikachu which will be a 'solid, better than expected' movie but since they didn't review Alita I'm not sure if they'll review this.
