I know that this is not related to Pokémon but I have to ask.
Do you know anything about this new Digimon TCG called Battle Spirits?
This is the first Digimon TCG with genuinely good art.

the only thing I know that it isnt really a "Digimon TCG", but it a TCG that use a tons of brands.
I have seen use Godzilla as well.

So i guess in a way it is like a Japanese tcg version of heroclix (because one gameplay with a lot of brands being able to play in the same game)

If it was better held properly, Digimon would be at least successful as Yu-Gi-Oh which is nowhere near popular as Pokemon but still survive and makes a lot of money.

IDK, man, in Japan it has popular games on DS, 3DS, PS4, and PSVita, and just had a series of six fucking theatrical releases with more to come. It's just not QUITE as much of a cash-grab as pokemon, and likes to reinvent itself somehow with every iteration, so it can't crank out shit like YuGiOh, which is all Dragonball GT-level non-cannon corporate bullshit now.
That isn't to say all of digimon is good, but at least they're making an honest effort.
