Armoured Evolution would be linked to Pokemon, we've seen that before.
However Armoured Forms are more likely Elemental Armour, that boost a particular stat or stats that need it or enhance its best stats.
Scorbunny then would get Blazing Armour (flame)
Sobble would get Hydro Armour (water)
Grookey would get Natural Armour (vines, bark and leaves)
As that fits in more with these games.
