Why is this physical? It feels like it should've been a special counterpart to Trevenant, it even gets Flamethrower/Fire Blast but can't make use of it because of the shit SpAtk

Because fuck you I guess. I'm not sure how well thought out this was on Gamefreak's part. Trevenant and Gourgeist seem set up to be version exclusives considering how similar their statlines are and how they both evolve by trading. I personally would have loved a grass-type that could use Flamethrower effectively, but I guess I'll go fuck myself.

I picked Flash Fire mainly because:
a. Even with the special stat and type change, its offense is meh.
b. It's based off a jack-o-lantern, so you should need to "ignite" the candle for it to technically work.
c. other lamp/lanturn pokemon get something similar, Lanturn notwithstanding
