The exception is if the mon is rare and a must have, but I usually save my Masterball using Ultraballs for Legendary and rare mons.

Usually when I'm getting my second team member it's too early for other ball varieties, but the Premier Ball is one you can get immediately.

It usually depends on how long I've been SRing for good stats.

I get conflicted about it. On the one hand I like the uniformity and the display of skill in catching legendaries in pokeballs. On the other hand it just seems absurd that these demi-god creatures can be caught in bog-standard pokeballs (and by a 10 year old no less).

The best Poke Balls are Quick Balls.

Just throw it on the first turn and it works 99.9% of the time. They're just like Master Balls only with better colours.

I have balltism. so if things aren't matching I recatch/breed shit. If they can only be in a safari/dream/cherish ball I don't give a shit though.
