Reveal it sooner but not have enough announcements immediately after to pad out until it ramps up closer to release
Reveal it later to accommodate a steady stream of information but then you have angry manchildren yelling at you for not doing it sooner
TPC and GF are constantly between a rock and a hard place because the fans of this series are probably the single worst collection of people who will never be satisfied

I do moderately. But it's not a priority considering it releases roughly the same time as MHW:Iceborne, TLoU II, etc. Still, I haven't played a Pokemon game in years, so I hope it's comfy.

I don't understand the Grookey dark route. I mean, just because the Water and Fire starters from the last two gens respectively ended up being Dark doesn't mean the Grass one will. We had Emboar and Chesnaught as Fighting, yet Primarina is Fairy and Empoleon is Steel.

I'm happy with the Irish translation of Galar as famine and diseases is historical fact. It may be why the region is industrial and covered in what looks like wheat. They furthered their science to advance medicine and planted more. The name serves two purposes:

Grookey goes Grass/Dark (Flying is my second choice but a glider) Naruto Emna: the Monkey King to beat Decleceye

Sobble goes Water/Steel (Poison is my second choice) to beat Primarina.

If any "leakers" did their research then they'd use only these secondary typeings for the Starters: Fighting, Fairy, Steel, Poison, Flying and Dark.
