>>38409570As long as your costume is nicely done and you just walk around minding your business, the most people will do is stop you for the occasional photo and that's it. You don't really have to interact much unless you want to. And as in any fandom/group/whatever, the degenerates are always the loud ones, but that doesn't mean everyone is. I haven't cosplayed in years
because I gained weight but I used to do it when I was 14 till 17 and it honestly was such a comfy and fun experience, wish to do it again sometime.
