We have this thread every day. The answer is no. Why everyone insists Arceus formes will be ok in OU just because they're not as good as the Ubers top tiers is beyond me. Lando-I is probably the closest to dropping and it's not even D-Rank in Ubers; people need to stop looking at Ubers viability when deciding if something should drop.
>>38416555Deo-D is not weak to U-turn, it's a hazard lead. It's not weak to Taunt, it runs Mental Herb. Its most legitimate counterplay comes from Magic Bouncers, faster mons that can OHKO it, and the increased distribution of Defog, but it has ways around all three: Skill Swap lets it get past Magic Bouncers, mons that OHKO it are few and far between (even Specs Greninja, Scarf Tyranitar, and CB Weavile fail in this), and most Defoggers can't directly contest Deoxys thanks to its bulk and Taunt.
>>38416570Every gen Genesect drops, is still broken, and gets banned again. I really doubt this is going to change in SS, Genesect is just too good at what it does. Blaziken is also never dropping without some massive change like a Speed Boost nerf, Z-moves have made it even dumber than when it was first released because now you can nuke whatever counter your opponent brings with the right matchup.
>>38416659There are more Defoggers this gen, and Bisharp isn't nearly as good at deterring Defog anymore, but Deo-D is still very consistent at what it does. It still gets up hazards extremely consistently, and even without Bisharp you have a ton of powercreeped threats you can switch in on the Defog turn as a punish. There's just very few consistent ways to stop its gameplan without insane counterbuilding (e.g. double Magic Bounce, Mental Herb Taunt Defog Tornadus-T, etc.).
