>>38422926Look, if you personally enjoyed Gen 6, then that's great. More power to you. But with all things considered, I'll answer the rebuttals you've made. I'm not hoping to persuade you to hate the Kalos games or anything, just gonna give out my thoughts.
>other than gen 5, falseFor the life of me, I cannot enjoy the story that Gen 6 was showcasing through the gameplay. Yes, there was a common theme about the beauty of Kalos, life and death, and how it supposably tackles each characters' perception of those topics. However, how it played off on those ideals never felt right. Lysandre brings up how he wants the world to be beautiful based on his own desires early on, but it doesn't get brought up until he reveals his plans to use the Ultimate Weapon. And then it just becomes too black and white with how clearly ludicrous Lysandre's ideals with wanting a beautiful world are, giving you no choice but to be against that because he's obviously batshit insane. And then once he dies, poof. The main plot is over. The only other interesting thing that gets brought up is AZ's story.
>t. never actually did a playthrough with exp. share offI played it twice if that helps. First time was with the EXP Share, way too easy. Second time was without, not as easy but there still wasn't a big challenge. I didn't forcefully crutch myself with bad Pokémon though, but that shouldn't be the determining factor for the game's difficulty whatsoever.
>if you only played through the game once then jumped into the hate bandwagon instead of coming up with your own opinion then yes it isEven after a second playthrough, the region felt forgettable. Obviously, you think otherwise. This is just my own experience after all. Not everyone finds it a memorable region, it's time to face that fact.
