I don't understand why all the colours are washed-out to shit.
Or why all the poses are as boring as possible. They just stand there staring blanky with no personality.

Somehow fucking ANIMATED models look less dynamic than sprites from decades ago.

You'd be suprised how common that is actually. 2d cartoons for example seem much more expressive with things like squash and stretch that most 3d shows don't even try to do

this is cool and dandy, but the majority of the battle you're gonna be seeing them idle.
the idle poses should look dynamic and fluid too. not just "gently bobbing up/down or left/right."
