>>38431048I used to go to /r9k/ quite often least year and honestly, some of the most wholesome talks I've had were there. Sure, most threads are dedicated to whining and bitching, but some of those turned into threads where people would vent in a sort of healing manner, and where I found myself having conversations about a variety of stuff many times, learning about other anons and even talking about myself, receiving advice in return, etc. /r9k/ has that golden needle in a haystack sort of thing, whereas /vp/ honestly has nothing except the occasional thread like the current fusiondex one where so far we seem to be having a good time. But those threads are so far in between, they're a rarity at this point.
This is all basing it on my experience.
