That is cool and i'm ok with the vast majority of it, but Staryu and Starmie are possibly extraterrestrial.

In pokémon sstadium : "This Pokémon may have come from outer space."
In FireRed : Because of its body, the locals suspect that it is an alien creature.
In Black2/White2 : Its core shines in many colors and sends radio signals into space to communicate with something.

I like the effort put into this, but there's some really blatant and bizarre mistakes in this.
Pineco and Forretress aren't plants, they're bagworms. They're literally bug type.
The Slowpoke and Lickitung line aren't amphibians. They OBVIOUSLY aren't amphibians; Slowpoke is some kind of marine mammal and Lickitung is.. Some sort of weird mammal?
Zigzagoon is clearly related to weasels.
Magmar isn't a bird. Just like how a Platypus isn't a bird.

Also, now that I think about it:
Isn't Pokemon taxonomy already a thing in some way due to Egg Groups? In the sense that Egg Groups kind of categorize close living Pokemon relatives to one another? Ones that can breed with each other at least.
