I remember when reading Part 5 I thought it was very interesting but quite boring, and even so DP managed to make a brilliant adaptation. Part 6 had some amazing moments but overall had awful pacing and the power creep went to absolute shit, all I hope is that it gets the P5 treatment and becomes great in anime form.

Yeah, I realized. The shitty translation actually made me despise Abbacchio, but people who had read it in japanese insisted he was a really good character in reality. Once the anime rolled I realized they were telling the truth and he easily became one of my favorites.

Idk man, if I were living a comfy mafia life with my best friends, and suddenly came a kid who considers himself hot shit and disturbs my peace then off course I'd be perpetually angry at him.
Although many times Abbacchio isn't even pissed, he just has a male equivalent of the RBF, which makes him better in my eyes tbqh. He's just trying to chill with his music/food and others happen to annoy him.
Also how the hell is he edgy, that'd be Fugo.

The reason Part 5 is getting such a good adaption is because its the most popular part in japan next to Part 3

Part 6 is one of, if not the most, hated part and will probably get a worse budget than Part 4

The entirety of Part 5 takes place in under a week so Abbachio (and the rest of the gang) barely know Giorno, he's right to put that little know it all in his place whenever he suggests a crazy plan, even if he does pull it off most of the time

But part 4, quality and all, still ended up being good. Sure, it wasn't as nice or comfy as the manga, but it did its job well and was received positively by the fans despite being considered a weak part. That's why I have hopes for part 6, I'm aware it's the most flawed part, but since it's also the end of the OG Joestar legacy, I hope they do it justice and make what little it actually did well shine brighter.
