Why are they so fucking bloated with connectivity crap?!

They force multiplayer down your throat from the moment you turn on the system with the C-Gear prompt and the ludicrous list of bullshit in the main menu (Relocator, Game Sync, Unova Link etc)

And then it spreads like a plague to what must be at least 20 different features and gimmicks all around the map.

That's fine, but it makes replaying it kind of an nuisance.
As much as it's my favorite game, it is bogged down by crap that's been discontinued sense.

If a remake ever does happen, I hope it's streamlined

Honestly it makes me sad, not mad, because it feels like I'm missing out on so much content because I have no friends that play pokemon. I think I used the entree literally once with a friend who barely played pokemon at that point.

The only bad part of this is that eventually all these options become unavailable, which is a big problem in BW2 cause berries and it hurts how they stand up to time. Still, it's a great addition while ot lasts.

I fail to see how this bogs the game down I actually only recently got Black and pressing A twice when I start the game is the only thing i have ran into that bogs the game down

If you didn't like this stuff in B/W you might want to brace yourself for Sw/Sh. Masuda's comments about making the game more focused on being a "handheld game" (as opposed to Let's Go being a "TV game") make me think they're going to focus on LAN stuff and have us walking around in the real world, meeting random people like we're in a Switch commercial and challenging them to battle.
