Remember, in their eyes LGEP IS a mainline game, so why wouldn't they talk about something compatible with the mainline games in the gameplay trailer reveal of the next mainline games, especially as SM's pre-release period saw a gameplay reveal by the 10th (they didn't have owt else to talk about though, so it was just gameplay. They went through a press conference to talk about quest and LGEP too, when Quest could have been done in a video).
