They all look the same because it's, well, it's fucking kibble, dude. But all of it is 'supposed' to be specifically suited nutritionally to satisfy the needs and health of all the different Pokemon. Every once in a while Brock even shows he has just mason jars of this stuff and talks about making new blends or experimenting with the recipe.
I'd also imagine they do it because it's just easier than drawing all this different food. It's an easy animation shortcut.
