>>38455386Using Kanto as the region of choice perhaps a rise from the ashes Villainous Team that uses old members of Team Rocket for its own goals which would be control through covert means, the logic being that Team Rocket was defeated through being loud and an obvious threat whereas the new team would be more stealthy and have many facades to conceal its true intentions. I'm going with the Kanto we see in Gen 4 + Sevii Islands so all Gen 1 and 2 Pokemon as well as several Gen 3 and 4 Pokemon, nothing against the later generations just trying to be consistent.
