Honestly, the one where Teachers Unions are an Ideology. We have cut education funding to the fucking bone, and there is mountains of evidence that money we put into education, arts, pure research has huge returns. There is no way we have cream of the crop teachers when all smart people see they cannot afford to live on a teacher's salary.

Also in my many years in the UK, and running for MP, I genuinely believe that left wing ideology is for good, kind and intelligent people,and that right wing is either illusion, selfishness or absolute stupidity. I have never been proven wrong.

I think it's a little more blurred than that. The way I've had it framed to me, and still frame it as, is conservatives are those who resist change, and liberals are those who try to force change. I think it applies to most people who fall into one of the two categories, but there's always exceptions.

I think the more you look at the bigger picture in terms of history, the less difference you honestly see between American liberals and conservatives, or the two largest groups in any country's politics. For the most part, these groups agree on the same fundamental ideas in terms of the structure of society, it's merely which values and ideas they emphasize and downplay that differentiate the two.
In that sense, I find it very hard to describe either as forcing change. True change will look shockingly alien to people who endorse the current structure of society, just as the values that we hold to be fundamental today appeared alien and frightening to those who supported the system before modern democracy.

So then has America really done much change at all? Or has it been so gradual that no one has really noticed? Perhaps it's because I'm only 18, and can't really say my opinion holds as much value as someone who's over 30, but America hasn't really changed all that much to me. Or maybe it has changed, and I've done my best to try and ignore it since change sucks so much.

America hasn't really changed much, no. All transfers of power have been peaceful which generally tells you things haven't been too bad, some new ideas have been introduced over the past 200 years but in general those ideas have been carefully merged back into the prevailing ideology and system in place.
I can't tell you when change will come or what it will be, but inevitably every system has died and been replaced so I would suspect this one has a similar fate, as weird as that is to think about. Everything we know now will be replaced in time.

I'm a commie so I'm not saying it in a good way, but Gamergate and subsequent culture war shit definitely had an effect on this website and every other website out there. So many of my friends went from being apolitical to browsing /pol/ semi-regularly, it was fucked up.
