The only way this type can work is with a quick glass cannon build. Magcargo was the opposite of that, and I'd like to think GameFreak is ware of this on some level. Then again, they made Aurorus.

A fire rock type would be good if it was fast. Fire and rock are 2 of the best offensive types in the game. As long as it had like base 115 speed or more and decent offensive stats it would be a good pokemon.
