>>38466205the environment itself is kino as fuck we don't get many badlands in Pokemon (and of the few we get some of them are incredibly shit like Kalos Route 13), I would say the most forgettable location in Pokemon is probably Pacifidlog Town, since almost every region requires you to at some point visit each and every town in said region any town or city that is skipped either really needs to be memorable or suffers as a result.
Going through the regions, Kanto and Johto don't have any such cities or towns, you visit every major location. Hoenn has Pacifidlog Town and if you're being obtuse Verdanturf can be skipped as well. Sinnoh has the Battle, Survival & Resort Areas, Unova has Black City, White Forest, Kalos has Kiloude City and Alola has nothing either.
Most players will actually visit Verdanturf so ignoring that one the ones your left with include three battle facilities (Battle Area, Black City/White Forest in B2W2 & Kiloude City) which is where most players will likely visit in some fashion in the post-game. The Survival area is good in Pt for the same reason the Fighting Dojo is good in HGSS, rematching important trainers specifically Gym Leaders and your Rival. The only one I'd say compares to Pacifidlog Town in forgettability is Resort Area.
