I'm playing through pokemon black for the first time and I just beat the Elite 4, N, and Ghetsis. How far am I from the end of the game? Is finding the sages the end of the game?

Game has been pretty fun so far, is Black and White 2 about as good?

Finding the sages and exploring the post E4 areas is pretty much all the postgame content in BW. BW2 are better in most people’s opinions (mine included) because it adds even more new areas, adds 150 Gen 1-4 mons to the dex, has a completely new story where you go through the areas in a different order, and has a decent post game. BW2 are well regarded for a reason.

That's the technical end. You still have to finish the Unova Dex, find the six (out of seven) sages, and do the Battle Subway, though.
Also if you haven't, you need to catch Victini, which is possible through getting the event with the DNS changing stuff.

finding the sages is post game. You have like 5+ routes and a few more towns to discover including white forest/black city and giant chasm. I would check a guide at this point for remaining things to do there's too many to list them here.

No. It's like the missing part in Gen 2 Kanto except longer. You could end the post game right now and go fight Alder instead of N but he's about 20 levels higher than Ghetsis was.

Yeah the main story is over. The remaining cities are post game related and you can still challenge the round 2 E4 for a proper champion battle against Alder. Finding the sages grants you a TM for each one.

B2W2 has a lot more post game and content in general so you're set to move on if you want more story as well. You can carry over some data from BW1 through the memory link such as extra scenes covering the two year time lapsed between BW1 and BW2 and being able to find N's Pokemon in the wild.

Alright, sounds like I'll find the sages and look at the towns and call it quits. I thought the story was going to play out more but I guess that's what Black and White 2 is for. Thanks guys.

Guys, I just bought a copy of Soul Silver from a dude. He had a few legendaries in his PC including 1 level 53 Arceus. I want to reset the game and make my own save file.
Is it worth it to wait to trade that Arceus?
Will I find Arceus in the future in any trades?
It's probably fake right?
