Seismitoad also is the only Water/Ground to get Grass coverage outside HP. That and his access to Uproar made him pretty useful on the Battle Tree for me.

Things Seismitoad should get:
1)Physical Water moves (obviously). I don't get why he wasn't a target for Liquidation.
2)Power-Up Punch. I was expecting it to be distributed to him naturally after Gen 6, but instead Quagsire and a few others got it. Weird considering a lot of Dex entries talk about how it powers up it's punches through vibrations.
3)A new Poison move that paralyzes (or has a chance to). Again because of Seismitoad's Dex entries, but many more would also benefit.
Anything else?

Ok, so context: I was running a full Ground-type team in Singles. Needed a Water Absorber. Max Sp. Atk, Spd, and Assault Vest. Ran Scald, Earth Power, Grass Knot, and Uproar. Uproar was needed against Yawn that mons like Vaporeon and Slowbrow carried. To a lesser extent useful against mons carrying Hypnosis/Sing. Sometimes also useful against things that resisted my other moves or were light-weight and neutral to Grass Knot.

Sorry, but Poison Touch is on the gimmicky side for me. It looks tempting on paper, but there is no way is on the same level of an immunity of a type that you don't resist(and can also be boosted by weather).

I redid the calcs with Assault Vest and you're right. A modest SpA Infernape does 69.8-83% against max HP investment, while only doing 62.2-73.3%. This does lower my physical bulk however. That's fine on a competitive team where you have 6 specialized members, maybe not so much for the Tree. Might be worth it, might not be. The only way to find out would be to test it I suppose.

They don't stack. What you're getting though is two separate 30% rolls. Together your chances are about 51%, still pretty good odds, but it's not 60%.
