>>38469282 said. You can cut a huge chunk of pokemon out, any of the cocoons, inanimate objects etc.
Take things like a blastoise. You simply move the effect anchor point up to it's canons, same with any projectile attack. Shoot it out there mouth or hands.
Here's a list of fixes.
This excludes pokemon with little to no moving parts.
1. Redo a portion of the idle animations.
Poor Tropius and Xatu got fucked with 3d because they thought sky battles was a good idea.
2. Hire the people who did the colosseum games to do the damaged and fainting animations.
3. Move the anchor points of projectiles.
4. A generic melee animation, a generic special attack animation, and a generic buff animation.
5. A special animation for there signature moves.
