She's my favourite in the series. She's legitimately psychotic rather than just being presented as a person with an evil plan. Her history of outright child abuse depending on how you want to interpret the stuff with Gladion and Lillie is a really neat as a subject for Pokemon.

Appealing to my love of dangerous women and lithe and dominant women helps too.

USUM Lusamine's story gets shafted in favour of Necrozma and everyone suddenly acts like she never did anything wrong. Even her children's character development is thrown out the window, Lillie becomes a trainer for ? reason since fixing mummy is gone as a motivation and Gladion remains a chuuni just because.

Along with Guzma, yes. Sun and Moon had a weak story but they did have memorable characters for both the right and wrongs reasons. Lusamine was one of the right ones.
