I totally understand what you are saying. It's just that most gym leaders in both the pokemon games and anime have always used 3 pokemon the very odd times with about 30% they will sometimes use 1,2,4 and sometimes even 5.

Aim cannons containing Voltorb at walls that need to be blown up. Aim at the correct wall and Voltorb destroys the wall by exploding! Of course, the Voltorb are totally chill with blowing themselves up and are perfectly fine with assisting in the Gym!

thanks! Weezing is actually my replaceable slot in the team, was just a Z-Move slave in my last team lol, I have a lvl 100 fully EV/hyper trained of every poison type to choose from

Thanks, and at the same time there's still a focus on the type with the other spherical bombs being capable of using Charge Beam as well as covering up the Ground weakness.

Thanks homie. Yeah, he's an amazing powerhouse. Hail setups are awesome for this team since Blizzard gets that sick 100 accuracy and Froslass packs that evasion bonus in hail. More of an Elite 4 setup with the proper movesets, but still really fun to make.

Also, the badge that I would give out to trainers that defeat me is called the Dusk Badge, as well as TM 59 Brutal Swing. Also rather then mega evolutions I would use a Z-Move instead.
