Mime and Eevee were introduced in Gen I but have barely (if ever) catchable in Kanto.
Slugma and Houndour are never catchable in Johto despite being Gen II Pokémon.
Some Pokémon (like Yungoos) are explicitly mentioned to be invasive species.
It's wrong to refer to Pokémon as "[region] Pokémon". Refer to them by generation they were introduced in. Zubat is a Kanto Pokémon, but it's also a Johto Pokémon, a Hoenn Pokémon, a Sinnoh Pokémon (etc.)
