Most of these models are recolors of others. The veteran models is also reused for the rising star, psychic ,and ace trainers, but the actual look only resembles the latter. Same for the waiter,that is a recolor of the Pokemart shopkeeper,or the Fairy tale girl,which is a recolor of one of the girls from the "twins" trainer class

Why are people acting like this is a new thing. Game freak has been reusing overworld sprites forever. It should be more forgivable for models. For example, pic related is Bird Keeper, Guitarist, and Kindler, yet looks like none of them.

At least in XY they made the effort to recolor the models. This way you can be sure on who you're actually going to battle.

Yea in gen 1 and 2, but past gen 3 trainer classes all have unique sprites. Fucking they have a chef sprite for gen 4 even though you fight like what two in the whole game?

Unique monsters with very few being recolors for different environments, and even then still being surrounded with monsters you'll only find in that area. each character has a different outfit for 24 classes. every boss looks different. not even close to being this shit
