Now combine that and that we know USUM Giovanni is from a timeline without Red (because he mentions that a kid beating him is something that should never happen) and that this Giovanni can use mega evolution (hence can't be a Giovanni from the first 5 generations), this leaves us with just one possibility, Sylph had the technology to open ultra worm holes and LGPE Giovanni stole it and tried to use it to conquer another world, most likely after conquering his own.
That is why after being defeated he just smiles and goes to another dimension.
