i'll admit my first time playing Crystal i made that mistake with Totodile, he was like level 30 and everyone else the level they were caught at around the time i fought Whitney.

I also played as the girl character cause a friend of mine claimed if you play as a girl it's easier.

I've seen people defend it only because Red became a champion, unlike Ash

but what's the point of seeing him becoming a champion if we didn't get to see any battle where he didn't job hard?
all of his progress happened offscreen, it was a hollow victory

I know people say Red relied too much on Charizard, but Jolteon was seen being used in Lavender Town, and later at the Elite Four, so it should have been at least decently high leveled. There's no way Giovanni's Rhyhorn should have OHKO'd it with a fucking not very effective special move.

Origins happened to just milk cash from charizardfags by creating a delusion for them that Charizard is the best pokemon ever made while degrading every other Kanto Pokemon and their fans.

Literally not a single Kanto pokemon shined through this special, not even Pikachu or Mewtwo.
the director and writers were literally nothing but Charizard fanfiction writers fags.

Funny enough that it flopped hard in Japan.
