>>38490306I was not suggesting a 1 for 1 parallel there, namely because Psyduck is barred from progressing in a timely fashion for being comic relief, while Ash and Misty have no such barrier and can be more amicable and shoot darts at each other at the same time. Just that they are both initially difficult but reap rewards (and have cooler "evolved forms").
