I’ve been experimenting a bit and seeing how far i can get in the super single battle and it got me wondering, is there an ideal team you can use that makes the Battle Tree seem easy that doesn’t include ultra beasts? Also post your teams that worked best for you i guess

I lead with Speedboost Scolipede and partner him with my Haxorus. AI keeps constantly going for my 'Pede on Protect turns, leaving my Haxorus alone most times.
Baton Pass the speed boosts to my Gogoat or Manectric (who goes mega after letting Lightningrod remove T-Wave).

Whoah whoah what? I was told you needed to emulate if you wanted to remove the banlist from the Battle Tree and Battle Royale. There's a legit hack for this on the 3DS? I SO want to use Groudon and Zygarde on my mono-Ground runs of the tree.

I've found Battle Tree Doubles to be far easier than Battle Tree Singles because you can use specific pairings that compliment and support each other, like Discharge + Rock Slide, Fake Out + Setup, Tailwind + Sweeper etc., while the opponents just have random crap with no attempt at synergy.

Synergy in singles is a bit different and it's mostly about trying to make sure no one Pokémon completely fucks over all three of your Pokémon when taken individually.

For record, I've had an unbroken streak of about 600 on Doubles but struggled to get to 50 on Singles.

That's straight up a lie (or a outdated statement.) You just need to use an up to date luma build which has the "enable game patching" option, then put the ips file on a certain folder, works for both o3ds and n3ds, you can find that patch here:

It can't have been outdated. I inquired over on the PKSM discord only a few weeks ago. They had a feature request room where I asked whether it was possible. The guy who answered me (dunno if he was even part of the team or not) said it wasn't possible and that I'd have to emulate. Could always be ignorance too I suppose. Or maybe it was just impossible to implement in PKSM specifically.

I haven’t played USUM yet, but I used Blaziken (Substitute + Swords Dance + Speed Boost), Azumarill and Mega Metagross.
I went very far if I’m not mistaken.
