no sense of mystique or lore-based interest. he's just a pokemon they designed to sell a movie (which you can argue all mythicals are but at least they tried to integrate them into the games in the past, albeit in ways only really accessible with AR codes).

I'll be honest I really, really hate Volcanion's design, but the movie he was in was enjoyable to watch to me because his performance is pure fucking gold.

Fuck, the first thing he does upon meeting ash is shoot him point blank in the face with scalding water. And he gets to keep doing that the rest of the movie.

One of the very few mons that can pull off a mixed attacking set with explosion and be effective at it. It's a hell of a lot of fun to use and pretty damn good.

I think shiny Volcanion isn't allowed on Wondertrade because it's not legal.
