Definitely could use a buff. Maybe increase the evasion buff, or prevent Dodrio from hitting itself in confusion.

That's literally what you said. If course not EVERY Pokemon should be OU, but it's unfair that power creep (most of which could've been avoided) has rendered previously relevant Pokemon irrelevant (even more unfair for Pokemon which were never relevant)

Give it speed boost or a new ability inspired from it having 3 heads.

One example posted a while ago is an ability that let's it attack three times, each move doing 40% of the total BP.

Ex. Tri attack would strike 3 times at 32 BP, and also give 3 chances to trigger its secondary effect or crit.

Well I think its purpose was not to just deal with enemy sleep but allow the user to Rest and wake up sooner. Maybe it could allow a Pokemon to wake up immediately the turn after it went to sleep, basically turning Rest into fully reliable recovery. As strong as that would be, I don't think it would break any of the mons that get it, especially because Houndoom and Kangaskhan wouldn't retain the ability upon mega-evolving.

Now that Flareon finally has Flare Blitz, people are finally aware Flareon's main issue is it's stats, not movepool (although the shitty movepool doesn't help it be less dogshit)

Laughing at all these people saying "Just make it Staraptor!" It would then be stuck in BL purgatory so nobody could use it. You need to think of Pokemon who occupy a similar role to Dodrio in other tiers and have it be slightly stronger than them so it's actually used. But not TOO strong so it's stuck in BL forever.
